Week 34: Chicken Pad Thai

When looking up recipes for this challenge a lot of fried food ideas kept popping up, but the last thing I wanted to do in the middle of August was deep fry food in my kitchen (I'm not a fan of it even on a cold day). So I decided to go the route of my favorite food to get at music festivals and went with pad Thai. I think it's all I ate while at the now defunct What The Festival back in my cooler days. To keep with the idea of festival food, I decided to find a recipe to make on the flat top grill.

This recipe was relatively easy to prep for and make. I've learned to just have all your ingredients prepped at ready at the start of doing anything on the flat top makes it a much smoother process. The whole cooking process went relatively quickly!

While this was good and easy to make, I wasn't a big fan of the sauce flavor. It was a bit too sour tasting for my liking. Next time, I'll follow the same process but change the sauce up a bit to have a more peanuty pad thai taste.
