Week 24: BlackBerry Ricotta Pizza with Basil

We're in the final week of work with students and it is full blown survival mode. I'll be stepping out of the classroom again for a TOSA role so I'm needing to clear out my classroom again which doubles the work. It'll be worth it for my sanity though!

I originally thought of doing a dessert for the berry challenge but wanted to try something somewhat savory. This recipe looked simple enough and my kids love blackberries so I thought it'd be a win win. I was also hoping that this would be a winner recipe because we have a ridiculous amount of accessible blackberries growing in the farm across the street.

I wasn't about to take on making my own dough, so I went store bought. I did more than a 1/2 cup smashed blackberries for the base because it didn't look like enough. This also took longer than 8-10 minutes to bake. I'd say closer to 15 minutes.

Next time, I'd double the smashed blackberry sauce, but overall not too bad!
